The short version

Pyrority keeps your data on your device. The app does not collect your information, does not send it anywhere, and does not have a server to send it to. There are no accounts, no ads, no trackers, and no analytics. You don’t have to take our word for it — everything below explains exactly how this works.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Pyrority app for iPhone and iPad (“Pyrority,” “the app,” “we,” or “us”). It explains what happens to the information you create when you use the app.

What we collect

Nothing. Pyrority does not collect, transmit, or receive any personal information.

Everything you create in the app — your tasks, projects, settings, and history — is stored locally on your device using your device’s built-in storage. Pyrority does not transmit this data to us or to any third party. The app itself makes no outbound network requests as part of its normal operation. Because we never receive your data, we cannot see it, sell it, share it, lose it, or hand it over to anyone.

Where your data lives

Your data lives only on your device. It is saved using the standard local storage that iOS provides to apps on your iPhone or iPad. It is not stored in the cloud and is not synced to any other device.

This has a practical consequence worth understanding: because your data is only on your device, we cannot recover it for you. If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose your device without a backup, your Pyrority data may be lost. If your device is included in an iCloud or computer backup that you control, your Pyrority data may be included in that backup according to your own device settings — that backup is managed by you and by Apple, not by Pyrority.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, Pyrority uses your device’s built-in notification system to alert you at the times you schedule.

These are local notifications only. They are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by the iOS notification system. Pyrority does not use push notifications, does not register your device with Apple’s Push Notification service, and does not send any data when a notification is scheduled or when it fires. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device’s Settings.

No accounts, ads, tracking, or purchases

Pyrority has no sign-up or login. We do not show ads. We do not track you across apps or websites, and the app does not ask for permission to track you because there is nothing to track. There are no in-app purchases in this version of the app.

What Pyrority is built on

Pyrority does not collect your data, but it runs on top of software and services provided by others. In the interest of being precise rather than absolute, here is what that means.

Apple’s App Store. You download and update Pyrority through Apple’s App Store, which is operated by Apple and governed by Apple’s own privacy policy. We have no role in how Apple distributes the app, and any information Apple collects in connection with the App Store is handled by Apple under its policy, not ours.

Device-level diagnostics. If you have turned on system-level analytics in your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), iOS may send Apple anonymous diagnostic information about the apps on your device, which can include Pyrority. This is a feature of iOS that you control in your device settings, and the information goes to Apple under Apple’s privacy policy — Pyrority does not receive it.

The privacy link in the app. When you tap the link to this Privacy Policy inside the app, your device opens it in your default web browser (for example, Safari). The request to load the page is made by your browser, not by the Pyrority app.

Software components. Pyrority is built with standard, widely used development components (including the React Native and Expo frameworks and related interface, storage, and notification libraries) that run locally on your device to display the app, store your data on the device, handle gestures, and schedule local reminders. In Pyrority’s use, none of these components send your data off the device.

Children’s privacy

Pyrority is intended for users 13 and older in the United States and 16 and older in the European Union and United Kingdom. It is not directed to children below these ages, and we ask that they not use the app.

In any case, Pyrority does not collect any personal information from anyone, so it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, there is no information for us to delete on our end, because we never receive it — the data stays on the device and can be removed by deleting the app.

Your privacy rights

Privacy laws in California, other U.S. states, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere give people rights over personal information that a company collects about them — such as the right to access it, delete it, correct it, or opt out of its sale or sharing.

Pyrority does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information about you, so we hold nothing to access, delete, correct, or opt out of. You remain in full control of the data on your device at all times: you can view it, edit it, or delete it directly in the app, and you can remove all of it by deleting the app from your device. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

How to delete your data

You are always in control of your data. You can delete individual tasks or projects inside the app, and you can erase all Pyrority data by deleting the app from your device. Because the data is stored only on your device, deleting it there deletes it completely.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Pyrority works in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. In particular, if a future version of Pyrority adds features such as cloud sync, an account system, AI features, collaboration, or purchases, those features could involve handling data differently, and we will revise this policy to describe them before they are released.
